JON MUSMAND, M.D.
Dr. Musmand has been practicing in Maine since 1994. He graduated from Johns Hopkins University and New York University Medical School. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at University of California at San Diego (UCSD). He completed his fellowship in pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology at Tulane University in New Orleans. Dr. Musmand has received awards from the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Chest Physicians and the Maine Lung Association. He was director of the Maine AH! Asthma Camp and received recognition for his volunteer work at the Street Clinic for individuals without health insurance for more than ten years. He was involved and remains active in studies of biologics in severe asthma. He sees patients age 12 and up. His interests include chronic urticaria (hives), sinus disease, and severe asthma.
