AMANDA WILLIAMS, F.N.P.

Amanda has been with the practice since 2018. She worked as a nurse for several years while pursuing a master’s in nursing part-time. She graduated from the University of Southern Maine with a master's degree in nursing/family nurse practitioner in 2020. Prior to coming to Allergy and Asthma, she worked at Maine Medical Center for 7 years on an adult respiratory unit caring for the acutely ill. She has also worked in primary care, and has served as an undergraduate clinical nursing instructor for the University of Southern Maine at Maine Medical Center. Her education includes a bachelor's in biology with a minor in French language and culture studies from the University of Maine at Orono; and more recently, graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor's degree in nursing from at the University of Southern Maine in 2015. She is a board certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and a member of the American College of Allergy Asthma and Immunology. Amanda enjoys seeing patients of all ages, but has a special clinical interest in food allergy and the pediatric population. Being a typical native "Mainer," Amanda enjoys spending time outdoors especially at the lake or ocean with her husband, dog and daughter.
