JAMES MAGUIRE, M.D.
Dr. James Maguire was born and raised in Massachusetts. He graduated from Boston College, then from University of Massachusetts Medical School, and ended up doing his pediatric residency at Tufts/Boston Floating Hospital followed by an allergy fellowship at Boston Children's Hospital Allergy/Immunology program. Dr. Maguire practiced adult and pediatric Allergy/Immunology and General Pediatrics in Fall River, Massachusetts for 36 years before retiring to Maine and coming aboard at Allergy & Asthma Associates of Maine on a part-time basis in November 2022.
Dr. Maguire is comfortable with evaluation and management of all general aspects of Allergy/Asthma/Immunology with particular interests in pediatric asthma, allergic rhinoconjunctivitis, urticaria, and immunodeficiency. He is experienced with patients of all ages.
Dr. Maguire has had a family vacation home in Maine for more than 30 years, and now lives here full time. His non-professional interests include my family, swimming, gardening, hiking, and reading.
